let me rephrase. I HOPE i will have a composer, i don't even know how much could cost hiring a decent one for few tracks! I have to carefully choose where to allocate budget, and music is FOR SURE something i want to be top level.

Making game music is a massive undertaking. When a skilled musician takes on that workload, costs increase wildly, because you essentially have to cover that person's monthly income. And as you know, standard music is just it's one side. Game music is much complicated :(

Looking good! How many character variations are you planning?

Hey! there will be 28 unique characters, need to add them to the game but are all mostly ready, they require to be polished and tweaked :) No variations right now, but there will be unlockable collectibles such accessories, armors, shoes and "pets".

The unlockable accessories and pets sound fun. Are you planning to tie them to exploration, achievements, or something else?

at the moment you can only find them in random chests or radom rewards for winning a game against another team :) and i might remove this last one lol Anyway, the collectibles loot is very raw, is there but unrefined, will think about it carefully when i'll be at a more advanced stage of development ☺️🫠

With a video/image and just rendering the bridge and the characters you could improve performance. Most of the time I optimize my start screen to load the rest of the game in the background in the pools
