@UVA takes a lot of damn gall to say you admire civil disobedience like MLK & Gandhi right after you send stormtroopers after yr students then say it’s time to heal from the thing you’re pretending you didn’t make happen. Hope you saved enough face with the GOP to get the Harvard job!

Most of your critics have not the experience, the wisdom, nor the courage to make the hard decisions that have been thrust upon you. Thank goodness for principled pro-speech, anti-chaos leaders such as you and @UNC's Lee Roberts. Wahoowa, and Go Heels. 🧡🩵

I watched the full hour session this afternoon. It was informative, transparent, and helpful. I appreciate your ending leadership remarks, President Ryan. Well said.

I am so thankful that President Jim Ryan has led UVA during my daughter’s 4 years at school. He is highly principled, honest and caring. Thank you for leading the university through very difficult times.

While I don't agree with the decision and the heavy handed approach Saturday; I have a lot of heart for Jim as a leader in our community. Sometimes there isn't a good option.

Thank you for all you did to keep the students safe. I appreciate your leadership.
