How about just suspending a license, impounding the vehicle and applying the fullest punishment when found guilty. If they offend again, jail time with no parole and no deals or early release. Wonder if these companies who sell these sponsored the bill?

More tyranny. More suppression of everyone's individual Liberty with a flimsy thin veil of "safety". More excuses to launder taxpayer money and create a business out of thin air for someone connected to someone connected to some asshat in Bob's circle. Making state patrol post up and focus on meeting ticket quotas hasn't worked, so the psychotic tyrants in WA's govt are opting to double down on being dictators. No streamlining of infrastructure and incentivizing good drivers ed with merit based measurements. More racist DEI, more regulation and intervention, more cracking with "or else" consequences and enforcement of arbitrary laws in the midst of rising violent crime, drug abuse, open air prostitution, child predators in govt schools, and crippling taxes with a $16 billion state deficit. These people are communists. We need to fight back and root them from every institution and at every level of govt in WA. They are hell bent on squandering resources in WA because they're not talented or creative. Instead they see us as their resources. Wage slaves they get to punish and suppress while driving us under threat of prison and legal punishment, so they can fund their sick socialist agenda.

Staff who want to carry must go through 40 hours of gun training and have a psychological evaluation. Left wing activists including Rep. I just signed SB 5557 to ensure pregnant individuals can access the full range of emergency medical care at hospitals across the state. This bill requires hospitals to provide an abortion when it's the necessary standard of care to protect the health or safety of a pregnant person. Although hospitals are currently required to follow similar federal rules, those rules could be challenged, putting these protections at risk. Committee meetings to consider views of stakeholders have not commenced, but the bill has already been put on today’s order paper for passing! If the bill is good for the Country like we are told, it is prudent that adequate time is accorded for key stakeholders to share their views on this bill. #KeepingTheGovtInCheck

I signed HB 1217 to provide stability and predictability in the rental market so tenants can better plan and budget to support their families. Many legislators worked hard to get this bill passed. I’d like to thank Sen. Emily Alvarado, Sen. Yasmin Trudeau, and Rep. Nicole Macri in particular for their leadership.
