Grateful for the questions and insights from Griffith University students at the economics and public policy roundtable hosted by the business school this week. It was a welcome opportunity to talk about housing and tax reform, Australia’s place in a world of churn and change, and their role in shaping the future. I really valued my time as a student at Griffith and always enjoy going back to spend time with the next generation.

#WATCH | Odisha: A third-year girl student from Nepal was found dead in KIIT University (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) hostel in Bhubaneswar on 16th February. As per a notice issued by the University, the institute is hence closed sine die for all international students from Nepal and they are directed to vacate the university campus immediately today on 17th February. Visuals from Bhubaneswar as students leave from the boys' hostel and Cuttack as they reach the railway station.

There were challenges and doubts, but most importantly, there were invaluable experiences. 2024 has been a year of growth, both in the realm of international affairs and in my journey as a reporter.
