Coming from Windows 3.11 and DOS, Windows 95 was a massive upgrade! And the launch event was just wild.

An exciting time. I remember building my own computer just for its release. Disaster ensued. Turns out my skills are best used cooking 🤣

My first computer had Windows 98

Wow! An operating system that could function without being connected to the internet? This software must be from the future! 🙃

Going to hazard a wild guess here, the owner of this PC museum thinks modern computers were reverse engineered from captured alien technology 😂

I do miss those days in the PC dungeon coding then LAN Quake after hours.

Microsoft went all out for the launch. They lit up the Empire State Building with Windows 95’s colors and even released a promotional video featuring Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry (from “Friends”) exploring the new OS.

I still don’t know what that turbo button ever did.
