This was the Siman Tov family. Parents Tamar and Yonatan, their twin daughters Shahar and Arbel, 5, and their son Omer, 2. On October 7th 2023 they were killed in their own home in Kibbutz Nir Oz. “He and his wife were shot through the window, they managed to keep the window closed… they decided they’d [rather] suffer from smoke inhalation together.”- Ranae Butler, sister of Yonatan. October 7th survivor Roei Shalev, who took his own life last week, was laid to rest on Monday. Roei witnessed the murder of is girlfriend and best friend on October 7th. A week after the massacre, his mother took her life. His final words were: “I can’t take this pain anymore. I’m alive, but everything inside me is gone.” May every Gazan who drove him to his fate be brought to justice.
