@ShabbosK Christmas and Easter should remain Federal holidays, even though they are Christian. I have no objection to Juneteenth. Many of my white ancestors suffered greatly, prison, fines etc. in their efforts to free their black brethren. I celebrate Juneteenth every year.

@ShabbosK Well stated - if you read between the lines you'll see that this was meant to divide and attempt to replace the original 'No kings' day July 4th.

@ShabbosK It's nice getting another day off paid because the Fed isn't open...Not gonna lie, I'm okay with getting a free day. The reason? Not one everyone's on board with, but nothing to rail against either. Just cannot believe it took 2(!) years for all the slaves to know they were free.
