I thank the Government of #Rwanda for hosting this important meeting, and I am pleased that it’s taking place in my home, Africa.

Tuahepa says antiretroviral (ARV) medication has been effective and kept her alive all these years. Tuahepa is urging people living with HIV to adhere to their medication as prescribed. PEPFAR is remembering and honoring those we’ve lost, as well as reflecting on our hard-won gains to save more than 25 million lives, including over 5.5 million babies who have been born HIV-free because of #PEPFAR. But Lenacapavir could change everything because instead of taking daily pills, people can now get injections every six months.
