Today it was revealed that the Coast Guard would no longer classify swastikas and nooses as hate symbols. Unacceptable. I just met with Admiral Lunday, and got his committment to publish a new policy. Hate has no place in our armed services.

.CNN is spreading FAKE NEWS. It has ALWAYS been forbidden for swastikas or nooses to be displayed in the Coast Guard. There is NO “reversal.” The 2025 policy is not changing—USCG issued a lawful order that doubles down on our *current* policies prohibiting the display, distribution or use of hate symbols by Coast Guard personnel. It is unfortunate that the Coast Guard must take time away from its mission to protect our nation to respond to these baseless smears and revolting lies from the media.

The The Washington Post is pushing a heinous smear that the U.S. Coast Guard no longer forbids or otherwise downgraded the forbiddance of swastikas, nooses etc. It’s a disgusting lie. USCG policy strictly prohibits these symbols—in fact, the 2025 version strengthens our ability to report, investigate and prosecute those who violate such policy. America can be proud of our brave men and women of the US Coast Guard who so valiantly defend our nation and its people.

Bill C-9, the Combatting Hate Act, would stop the use of swastikas and symbols of terror organizations to promote hate, and it strengthens hate laws and protections against intimidation intended to impede access to a place of worship. This legislation is about protecting people and standing up against hate — conservatives need to stop the obstruction and vote for it.

I was shocked to see a local synagogue, The Pride of Israel, attacked earlier this morning by vandalism. Any attacks on houses of worship are completely unacceptable. We pride ourselves on our diversity and tolerance. Hate has no place in our Ontario!

A 9-year-old boy was building a fort with his friends in Naperville, Illinois. A man came out of his home and allegedly hurled a racial slur at the child, pushed him, and threw his bike. It is horrific that this young king has to experience hate so young. This is why we fight. We are glad to see felony hate crime charges filed. Our children are allowed to play in our communities. Hate has no place in our neighborhoods, our streets, or anywhere near our children.
