To the People of the United States—Thank You Every day, Russian missiles target our cities, our homes, our children. Every day, your support helps stop them. Thanks to the air defense systems provided by the United States, lives are saved. Families remain whole. Ukraine stands. This is not just equipment—it is protection, hope, and a shield against terror. From the people of Ukraine: Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for helping us defend our sky.

Did you know France massacred African soldiers in 1944 after they helped them fight in WWII? Today marks 80 years since the defeat of fascism in Nazi Germany. But here’s another colonial chapter France still hasn’t reckoned with.

At a time when so many are struggling with food insecurity and vulnerability, we are strengthening our efforts to help people in need. For many years, Lakewood has worked with hunger relief organizations to feed the hungry and plant seeds of hope and love in the hearts of those who are hurting. We are grateful for your support, which allows us the opportunity to help people in need. Together, our compassion is changing lives.
