It has been a huge pleasure for us today to welcome former Coventry City manager Mark Robins to award him with an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration 👏 Mark oversaw promotions from League Two and League One, while also taking his side to within a penalty kick of a return to the Premier League. Coventry City also won the EFL Trophy in 2017 and reached an FA Cup semi-final last season for the first time since 1987. While all good things must come to an end, we were delighted to recognise the positive impact that he's had on football and the community of Coventry as a whole. #PUSB #CCFC

MPs have rejected an attempt to demand that broadcasters show at least 10 Premier League football matches on free-to-air television each season. The Commons voted against the proposal put forward by the Liberal Democrats which would have also required free-to-air coverage of the League Cup final, and the Championship, League One and League Two play-off finals. The votes took place as MPs backed plans to set up an Independent Football Regulator for the top five tiers in England to ensure that clubs are run sustainably and are accountable to their fans.
