@allianceparty The LGB bit is a question of sexual orientation. LGB does not require hormone treatment or surgery. The T is a question of gender dysphoria. Treatment requires life-changing hormone treatment and surgery. Are you saying counselling in this case should be outlawed?

What is it about the chemical castration of children to keep them in a pre pubescent state that you think is such a great idea Eoin? This isn’t about precocious puberty an actual medical condition this is taking a decision to stop a child going through puberty, effectively sterilising them, risking them suffering from issues with bone density amongst many other risks for the rest of their lives. And now you want to bring in legislation that would imprison anyone for up to 5 years who would say to a 10 year old; you know what Billy that really isn’t a good idea. You aren’t a girl. You’re a boy and you will never be a girl. You weren’t born in the wrong body.
