Today, OpenBSD fixed a hilarious way to escape the unveil() sandbox (using just a symlink) that I reported. The vulnerability has been present since ~2018. Congrats to the padawans at my offensivecon training that also found that one, and many more.

I have so many fond memories of my time as a student at The Mecca, and I recognize that my time at Howard shaped me into the person I am today. At Howard, we learn that we have the capacity to be great — and that we also have the responsibility to work hard to live up to that potential each day. Happy homecoming, Bison!

One of my favorite things about the English dub is that they also included the Jotun language in addition to Hermes, two of the many original languages from the novel Another point to add is that giving him a British accent is a touch that, personally, adds more dynamism to the work since it's set in a Victorian era. I also LOVE the anguish in Derrick's voice—it really sounds like someone who has just lost his parents. Oh, and the tone shift between Klein's voice and Mr. Fool's is phenomenal ✨

Just when we thought our final drive at Amrit Vav was over, the stepwell surprised us once again. Three more endangered turtles were found today, one of them the largest, and likely the oldest, individual we’ve encountered here, along with two smaller ones. That brings the total number recorded at the site to 5. A fitting reminder that Amrit Vav still has many stories to tell.
