Today should’ve been a historic day for digital assets. Unfortunately, Senate Democrats put politics in the way of commonsense, bipartisan stablecoin legislation.

@digitalassetbuy This is a very old out of touch boomer crowd @SenateDems average age is retirement. We need mandatory retirement and age restrictions. No one at retirement age should be making decisions regarding technology they don’t understand.

Republicans have the Senate the house and the fucking presidency. They don’t need Democrats for anything and they still get nothing fucking done. They hold hearings they say little sound bites but they don’t do a fucking thing fuck Mitch McConnell and anybody else against Maga.

My Senate colleagues negotiated a bipartisan bill containing the toughest border reforms in 40 years, along with aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. This is a historic opportunity. It’s time to put politics aside and pass this bill.

It’s criminal for the Senate to leave town without passing legislation to stop fraud. Senate Democrats BLOCKED my bipartisan anti-fraud package that would protect taxpayers and save an estimated $240 billion. Senate Democrats, what’s the holdup? 🤔

The first significant bipartisan Bitcoin and crypto-related legislation in the United States has passed out of committee and will now advance to the Senate. The bill, known as the GENIUS Act, provides regulatory clarity for stablecoin issuers.

It’s been one week since Democrats shut down the government and put their far-left base before the American people. If just a handful of Senate Democrats would join Republicans, we could end this shutdown in a matter of hours and continue the bipartisan appropriations process.

Stablecoin regulation is a bipartisan issue, and the GENIUS Act reflects bipartisan consensus. Thanks to Senator Bill Hagerty, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Senator Tim Scott, in particular, for keeping the ball rolling on this issue. I hope that in the future we will be able to take up bipartisan legislation without Democrats creating these unnecessary delays.

A lot of hard work has gone into the Senate farm bill, and reporting the bill out of committee is an important step that pushes us closer to getting this critical legislation to the president’s desk. While I’m frustrated by Democrats’ lack of support, I’m proud that Republicans united to advance the farm bill so we can build on the historic investments we enacted in the Working Families Tax Cuts and deliver long-overdue policy updates for South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers. Senate Republicans worked in good faith with Democrats to negotiate a farm bill that includes year-round E15 and more than 100 bipartisan bills to support rural America, and Democrats’ decision to put partisan politics ahead of producers and vote against the farm bill yet again is simply inexcusable. It’s critical that Congress passes this legislation to give farmers and ranchers the certainty they need, and I hope Democrats will come to their senses and put politics aside so we can get the farm bill across the finish line for America’s producers.
