Tragedy struck Islamic Senior High School at Abrepo in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, when a Form Three student, identified only as Abass, fell to his d£ath from the top floor of the school’s administration block. The incident occurred in broad daylight during school hours, leaving students and staff deeply shocked as many rushed to the scene. Reports indicate that prior to the incident, Abass, a Business student who was serving as Boys’ Prefect, had allegedly been caught in an inappropriate situation with a female student by a teacher. The matter was reported to the school authorities, who subsequently summoned Abass’s mother for a disciplinary meeting to discuss the issue and determine appropriate consequences. According to persons close to the family, including his mother and uncle, as well as some students, Abass became deeply distressed after learning that his mother had been called to the school and even informed her of his intention to hàrm himself. At today’s Brooklyn College graduation at the Barclays Center, dozens of Palestinian and allied students planned to carry the Palestinian flag across the stage—a proud and peaceful tradition seen at graduations for years. But they were met with racially and religiously targeted searches: only visibly Arab and Muslim students were singled out. Flags were confiscated, students detained, and families harassed—some nearly kicked out—for demanding their belongings back. This has got to be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen coming from Harvard. More than 30 Harvard University student organizations are holding Israel “entirely responsible” for the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel: Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine "We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence. Today's events did not occur in a vacuum. For the last two decades, millions of Palestinians in Gaza have been forced to live in an open-air prison. Israeli officials promise to "open the gates of hell," and the massacres in Gaza have already commenced. Palestinians in Gaza have no shelters for refuge and nowhere to escape. In the coming days, Palestinians will be forced to bear the full brunt of Israel's violence. The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years. From systematized land seizures to routine airstrikes, arbitrary detentions to military checkpoints, and enforced family separations to targeted killings, Palestinians have been forced to live in a state of death, both slow and sudden. Today, the Palestinian ordeal enters into uncharted territory. The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation. This marked the breaking of the Ramadan fast, turning a secular civic chamber into an impromptu mosque. The truly galling part? This happened in the one brief 30-minute window each month when ordinary Bristolians, the native English public, get to speak directly to their elected representatives. Instead of hearing from locals about potholes, crime, housing, or the endless strain of mass immigration, the slot was hijacked for Islamic worship. Public participation sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalism. I grew up in the Middle East, I survived both wars and our culture. It takes much more than a bunch of losers throwing an emotional tantrum to intimidate me. Harry Pettit 🇱🇧🇵🇸 is the teacher at Radboud University in Nijmegen who urged Dutch universities or the pro-Palestine mobs, to be specific, to give me “the warm welcome” I deserve, inciting the violence we witnessed today. Instead of teaching students to engage in dialogue, to challenge my position and try to understand why I identify as a recovered antisemite, he abused his position and acted as an anti-Israel activist leading a mob of angry, privileged, spoiled young men and women, most of which have never been to the Middle East and do not know the very basics about our region and the Arab-Israeli conflict. What I saw today on campus in Nijmegen is a display of moral bankruptcy, a despicable sense of entitlement and boiling frustration. A frustrated teacher who was previously arrested for his disruptive behavior could not cancel my events in the Netherlands. He came to the door and did not have the courage to come in. Instead he orchestrated a loud and aggressive protest outside and sent a few of his “disciples” to disrupt and be escorted out by the police risking their future being tainted with a criminal record. But who cares if Harry Pettit 🇱🇧🇵🇸 thinks they are heroes. In his (and their) world, I am a genocide apologist who was “sent off”. After my event, we were escorted by security and the police to prevent the pro-Palestine mob from lynching us. The innocent students who were “thrown to the ground” were trying to physically attack us and when they could not, they were punching and kicking the car, trying to open the doors, to get the driver out. They also jumped in front of the car to prevent us from leaving. If the police wasn’t there, what would they have done to us? Today I need every person in Ireland to contact their TD and Senator. Why? Minister for Justice Jim O'Callaghan is negotiating an amnesty for 1,000 illegals who were previously ordered to self deport. Strange foreign men from the other side of the world gathered outside the Dáil for weeks and promised "no justice, no peace" if their demands weren't met. Instead of being rounded up and promptly removed from Ireland, these migrants have been invited into government buildings to negotiate with the government. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find that to be completely unacceptable. Ireland is our country, our home. Foreign strangers should not be able to override immigration law by shouting and screaming for a few weeks.

United Arab Emirates. For several weeks now, Ukrainians have been working here to help in protecting lives. I met with members of our team here and discussed the initial results, the key conclusions from their work in the Emirates, as well as several proposals. Our shared goal with our partners is greater security. Ukrainians, unfortunately, remember well what it was like when Russia’s full-scale aggression against our country began. Much depended on fast and effective defense decisions. Today, Ukraine not only needs assistance but is also ready to support those who support us. During this time, our experts have held meetings with representatives of the UAE’s Security and Defense Forces. They are working to strengthen protection against aerial threats. We discussed this right before my meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. There is already a clear understanding of how the protection of airspace and critical infrastructure in the Emirates can be strengthened by integrating Ukrainian experience. This concerns comprehensive solutions that have proven their effectiveness. I thanked the team for their service and for the respect for Ukraine that is felt across the region. Our people deserve this respect and are truly among those who can help restore security. Glory to Ukraine!

BREAKING🚨: An active shooter has opened fire at Florida State University's Tallahassee's campus. Disturbing footage showed people fleeing from a student union around midday local time Thursday. A university alert said some police were on the scene and others were on the way. It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the shooting. Meteorology student Garrett Harvey shared a clip of people running across a road and wrote: 'There is a shooting around the student union. 'People are running across TN Street.' Another meteorology student called Ryan Cedergren said he was in the affected area, but did not share further details about what happened. NFF’s Director of Communications, Dr Ademola Olajire, provides a point-by-point account of how a keenly-anticipated Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match was relegated to a fiasco by Libyan federal authorities and Football Federation 1) The chartered ValueJet aircraft departed from the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo at 11.55hours on Sunday, 13th October 2024, and landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano at 13.10hours, for the completion of immigration formalities and for the aircraft to refuel. 2) The aircraft took off from Kano at 15.18hours, for the 3 hours and 35 minutes flight to Benghazi, Libya, expecting to arrive a few minutes before 8pm Libya time. 3) Just as he was about to commence his initial approach into Benghazi, the captain (pilot) was instructed by the control tower that he could not land in Benghazi (despite having all the required landing papers and having completed all formalities before leaving Uyo and later, Kano, but should proceed to the Al-Abraq International Airport, even though the airport lacked the control navigators for landing at such hours. He complained that he was short on fuel but his words fell on deaf ears as he was told in stern manner that the directive was from ‘higher authorities.’ 4) On landing at the Al-Abraq International Airport, in the small town of Labraq, at 19.50hours, it was clear that the airport was not a well-utilized facility. There were no scanning machines or the usual equipment for this service, and officials had to make do with mobile phones to scan passport data pages. 5) The delegation, which included 22 players and team officials; NFF President Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau; Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu; a couple of NFF Board members; NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi; a couple of parliamentarians; a couple of NFF Management; a couple of media representatives and; a couple of stakeholders, was shown scant respect by the airport authorities who applied curt manners and stern tones. 6) It took over one hour for the team’s luggage to roll through the carousel, despite the fact that the bags and other items had already been hauled from the aircraft immediately on arrival. 7) No official of the Libyan Football Federation was at the airport to receive the delegation, as is the best practice globally. Airport officials could not answer the simple question on where the buses that would take the delegation members back to Benghazi (where the NFF had booked hotel rooms) were. 8) When delegation members including the NFF President, Comrade Shaibu and Dr Sanusi attempted to venture outside the airport to ascertain if there were vehicles waiting for the team, they were stopped in the most uncouth of manners by airport security personnel. 9) Calls to the General Secretary of LFF, Mr. Abdul-Nasser by Dr Sanusi yielded no fruits as the former kept promising that the buses would arrive in ‘10 minutes’, which later became ‘two hours’, and afterwards, ‘three hours.’ Later in the evening, it was no longer possible to reach him on phone. Frustrated by this attitude, Dr Sanusi approached the security operatives to request that the team be allowed to go out and board the buses the NFF eventually hired. This request was rejected with insults. It took the intervention of the NFF dignitaries to prevent what would have escalated into a row as the NFF President himself was not spared when he heard exchange of voices between the security personnel and his General Secretary. This aggravated the tension and further frustrated the team. 10) Hour after hour, and with mounting frustration, delegation members, particularly the players, grew restless. The school has gone to incredible lengths to hamstring this event, including: 1 - Forcing us to change our ticketing system the day of the event. The university's excuse is they want to ensure "fair and equitable" ticketing. This means the hundreds of students who thought they had tickets will not get in. This has never happened at one of our events. 2 - Protester groups were somehow tipped off about the school's new ticketing system and the timing of when they'd be made available, allowing them to reserve large numbers of tickets to stage a walk out. We know this because our students are also in those group chats and alerted us. This also has never happened before. 3 - We had thousands of people register for tickets to this event, but the school would only give us a venue with 330 seat. No overflow. No larger venue. 4 - Our chapter president has been doxxed with his number and address published on social media. The campus police and school administrator shrugged their shoulders. 5 - The administration has said they cannot step in or ask protesters to leave if they attempt to disrupt the event or shout down Kyle. 6 - The school has allowed into the event the student that doxxed our chapter president, knowing this person was responsible for the doxxing. 7 - The protestors have entered the event and are taping the names of the people involved in Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense. The school is not stopping them. This is what happens when school administrators pander to petulant children. You get chaos. Our brave students will press forward but this is unacceptable, especially in a Tennessee.
