It's pretty gross how our government desperately encourages Canadian women not to have children. Abortion comes with serious mental anguish that will have a negative impact on many women in their futures. Stop promoting it as healthcare, it's not.

This is so pathetic. Do they not teach birth control anymore?

Beyond happy about this. Reproductive care is health care. Accessibility is part of the Canada Health Act!

Abortions destroy a human life. Why is this so important to you?

Very very small issue. People are struggling to pay bills and these folks still talking about abortions??? The abortion issue is still a good distraction to use on some people though! But it’s tired for the majority now

Should be a price for abortion, or one for free and thats it. Seems like they give them out for free like candy, I dont want to pay for that. Start promoting people having babies.

What is wrong with using birth control?

My opinion on abortion. No one at all should be able to tell a woman that she can’t have an abortion before the 20 week mark. Here is why… - Before 20 weeks, a fetus does not have the capabilities for complex neural activity that would be required to have a subjective subconscious. Without a subjective subconscious the fetus doesn’t even know it’s alive, and doesn’t even know it exists. It can’t feel pain, have dreams or have thoughts. - Before 22 weeks, a fetus simply is not considered viable. It almost never can survive outside of the womb even with intense medical intervention. Most scientists believe that sometime around 24-28 weeks is when a subjective subconscious is formed. At this point, I think it’s absolutely wrong to have an abortion, unless the mother’s life is in danger or the likelihood of the child surviving birth is extremely small. Fact is that less than 1% of all abortions in the US occur after 21 weeks. This equates to a little over 4,000 abortions per year. Of these 4,000 (1%), over 99% of them are in instances where a mother's life is in danger or the child has severe fetal anomalies incompatible with life outside of the womb. That means that less than 0.01% (less than 40) abortions per year take place after 21 weeks in which the mother's life isn't at risk or the baby isn't going to die upon birth. Historically, the Roe v. Wade decision (1973) allowed for the right to an abortion but permitted states to impose restrictions after viability (around 24 weeks). So that's why women want to be left alone. Women make the right decision for themselves. States can outlaw abortion after 24 weeks and very few people have problems with this. The federal government nor the states should control women.

Last night SBS Insight and Hannah Ferguson LIED about late term abortion to serve their barbaric pro-abortion narrative. We filmed the pre-record for two hours and in each of my answers where I corrected these lies, these were suspiciously cut from the version that aired last night. The biggest lies that the mainstream media and pro-abortion establishment have perpetuated for so long are that late term abortions are rare and either to save the life of the mother or because the baby has a condition incompatible with life. Here's the facts SBS didn't let you hear last night👇 - in SA 80% of late term abortions kill healthy babies in non-emergency situations for the mother. - the number of late term abortions required to save the life of the mother in SA is zero - late term abortions kill close to 1,000 babies EVERY year. These are babies who could be induced alive as they are either on the threshold of viability or completely viable. - late term abortions often kill babies under the guise of "fetal health" when really it's just blatant eugenics and ableism. Babies are routinely killed for non-life threatening conditions such as disabilities like cleft lip, club foot or Down Syndrome. - only 20% of late term abortions in SA are for babies with a physical condition and it's highly unlikely most of these would be for conditions incompatible with life. Know the facts and don't believe the BS they try to brainwash you with. Share this post so that more Australians wake up to the lies.
