Erratum: we meant to say that, from next year, new rules will enter into force on a gradual basis. Tracking devices will be mandatory on all EU fishing vessels only from 2030.

Note: the application of the new tracking requirements will take 2 years from the entry into force of the new regulation to kick-off, but this is certainly good news in any case.

The red plates for government safety vehicles. That what we were launching today. Next will be for general public and we will retain the same colour plates. This innovative system ensures all key vehicle details — make, colour, VIN number, registration number, driver’s licence, and licence disk are perfectly aligned for enhanced transparency and accountability. ⚠️ Important Notice: These plates are tamper-proof. Removing or attempting to remove them is a criminal offense and will be treated as such.
