The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, followed by continued breastfeeding alongside complementary foods for up to two years or longer, as long as the mother and child mutually desire. The Qur'an mentioned this 1500 years ago; "وَالْوَالِدٰتُ يُرْضِعْنَ اَوْلَادَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يُّتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ ۗ" "And mothers shall suckle their children for two full years, for those who wish to complete the suckling..." (QS. 2:233) NO DOUBT 😇☝🏽
