The legacy you will leave will be a country that is unable to feed itself. Why do the Labour Party hate the countryside and it's people so much!

If this is a photo of new young trees, do you really need to plant like this? Reminds me of a housing estate of regimented rows, not how a forest would evolve naturally.

It's a good start, however England only has 10% woodland cover, so there's quite a way to go before we reach the target of 16.5%.

@ForestryComm This all very well but do we have the tree nursery capacity to produce the young trees needed? Years of uncertainty and goal post changing has not exactly encouraged tree nursery’s to gear up.

Can we have specific sites set aside where we can go and plant our Christmas trees?
