Doesn't matter what era you're in, that tackle's a shocker and a red all day long. But much more interesting is the reaction from the player, i.e. lack of one. It's hard to think of a single player these days who wouldn't need immediate life saving surgery after that.

Oh no sir do no reach into someone's car and start touching stuff. He pulled that hood latch like he pays the insurance on that car. What an amazing man. He said “hopefully they’ll understand why I’m late to my appointment” meaning helping this lady was more important than making it to his appointment on time. Nobody I know would do something like that. I got a $1000 fine for towing with ratchet straps one time. The judge dropped it, and the cop was a lot less proud of himself that day.
