The internet gave us infrastructure to connect, communicate, and transact. But more and more of what we need to do together now involves information that cannot simply be shared. Digital voting should produce a public, verifiable result without exposing individual choices. Healthcare researchers should be able to learn from sensitive patient data without exposing the people behind it. Competitors should be able to solve shared problems without giving up the information that keeps them competitive. Interfold is building infrastructure for that problem: confidential coordination. It lets independent parties compute together across private inputs without exposing them or relying on trusted hardware. Decryption is distributed across independent operators, and anyone can verify the result. That opens the door to digital democratic systems with secret ballots, markets built around private positions, and entirely new forms of collective intelligence. Systems increasingly bring together people, institutions, and agentic systems with different interests and incentives. The internet needs a new coordination model built for that reality.

Announcing Centaur 2.0! Centaur is frontier, agentic infrastructure that you own. Centaur is like Claude Tag, but open source and on steroids. Centaur 2.0 can connect to everything you have access to, and can reason over it next to where you work, either in Slack, Discord, Teams or in your local Codex or Claude Code via an MCP. But context isn't useful if it can be accessed by anyone, so we rebuilt Centaur from the ground up for security. Centaur obviously doesn't have access to secrets because we're leveraging egress proxies. Centaur 2.0 takes that a step further enabling administrators to configure who can access what from where. This means that Centaur can have access to private information that you normally wouldn't feel comfortable giving it access to (e.g. DMs or sensitive channels and docs) but only expose it to authorized principals. It also means you can add Centaur to external channels and leverage it as a virtual colleague that doesn't live only in your Slack, for example, but also your Slack Connect channels! This is extremely powerful as we start moving to a world where agents cross organizational boundaries. Also in case anyone's wondering, yes we rewrote it in Rust! Centaur is now way way more stable at durably executing threads, and its workflow engine is now based on Absurd. We have been operating Centaur since January, officially launched and Open Sourced it in May, and now we're full speed towards making it the #1 open source agentic infrastructure. To succeed at that, I'm thrilled to welcome Matthew Slipper to the Paradigm team who will be leading all our Applied AI work, while continuing to maintain and extend Iron Proxy as the leading secure secret access for agents. Today marks General Availability of AgentCore, a set of infrastructure building blocks for developers and companies to build secure, scalable agents. When we first started AWS, the vast majority of developers were spending most of their time on the undifferentiated heavy lifting of infrastructure instead of what differentiated their feature. So, we solved that problem by building primitive building blocks like compute and storage and database that would allow teammates and customers to quickly build and deploy new experiences without having to reinvent the wheel each time. We realized the same thing was happening with AI agents. It's too difficult and it's slowing customers down. That's why we created AgentCore, a set of services to build, deploy, and operate highly capable agents using any framework or model, with enterprise-grade security and scalability. These building blocks (like serverless secure runtime, memory, observability, a gateway that does MCP translation, etc) help customers tackle some of the biggest challenges of going from prototype to production, much more quickly, securely, and scalably. AgentCore has been in preview for several weeks, and customers have been quite excited about it. The AgentCore SDK has already been downloaded over a million times and we're seeing transformative results, such as Cohere Health expecting to reduce medical review times by 30-40% in highly regulated healthcare, and teams at Cox Automotive and Experian are embracing its flexibility to deploy and operate agents at scale. Inside Amazon, our Amazon Devices Operations & Supply Chain team is using AgentCore to develop an agentic manufacturing approach where AI agents work together to automate manual processes – turning what used to be days of engineering time into processes that take under an hour with high precision. Just like AWS changed how companies build and scale applications, we believe AgentCore will do the same for AI agents, enabling the next generation of innovation.

Karpathy's Agentic Engineering finally has proper tooling! (built by Google) Karpathy defined agentic engineering as the discipline that separates production agent work from vibe coding. The core skills he listed were spec design, eval loops, and security oversight. The problem has been that practicing this still requires a different tool for every phase: - editor for code - a terminal for scaffolding - a browser for testing - a cloud console for deployment - and a separate framework for evals. Every transition is a context switch. The solution to production-grade Agentic Engineering is now actually implemented in Google’s Agents CLI. It covers the entire workflow in one place for scaffolding, evaluating, and deploying ADK agents. One setup command injects 7 ADK-specific skills into a coding agent's context, which lets it handle scaffolding, evals, deployment, and enterprise registration through natural language. I tested this end-to-end by building a RAG agent from scratch using Claude Code. It scaffolded the full project from the ADK agentic_rag template, generated 20 eval scenarios with LLM-as-judge scoring, and returned a quantitative scorecard. Finally, it also deployed everything to Agent Runtime and registered the agent to Gemini Enterprise, so the entire org can discover and use it. The video below shows this in action, and I worked with the Google Cloud team to put this together. Over the past 6 months, we've rearchitected Cline's agentic loop into a standalone "cline core" gRPC service that runs independently of any editor. This enabled us to decouple from VS code and build - JetBrains (released in GA this week) - CLI built in Go (releasing soon) - Secret project that may be announced soon The CLI is our newest product and will ship without a TUI. Our focus is to release a true primitive. something close to the metal that pipes cleanly into RL environments, CI/CD systems, scripts, and automation workflows. Any "presentation layer" mentioned above can connect to the same running cline core - maintaining full feature parity (e.g. checkpoints, settings, api configurations), context, and conversation state. There's an SQLite-based instance and file/directory lock registry that prevents port conflicts and coordinates graceful shutdowns between paired processes - so you can start up thousands of cline instances in parallel with no conflicts or dangling processes. What's remarkable is that this cline core architecture opens Cline to any interface imaginable: mobile apps, web dashboards, custom tools - all powered by the same intelligent core that understands your codebase.

Introducing Poetic: a new AI system that executes complex multi-hour tasks with 99%+ accuracy and 10x fewer tokens than agents. We raised $50M at $500M from Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, First Harmonic, and Genius Ventures to build AI that does complex work inside Fortune 500 companies without hallucination. While code is too brittle, agents are too unpredictable. The work that runs the global economy - anti-money laundering, fraud investigations, underwriting - needs extreme accuracy.
