Ledger just went live with full support for Celo gas fee abstraction. Since 2023 (CIP-64), users of the Celo network have been able to pay for gas fees using a host of assets and stablecoins, including $USDT and $USDC. This benefit is now available to Ledger’s 8+ million users, who can pay gas fees with $USDT, $USDC, Wrapped $ETH, and local stablecoins tracking the Japanese Yen, Great British Pound, Nigerian Naira, Brazilian Real, and more.
