Over the past year, we've seen AI models from organizations like @StabilityAI redefine the creative tooling landscape. While it gave many of us newfound superpowers... Many of us were left asking how will artists & creatives retain attribution going forward?

Back in February, we introduced the first iteration of SOURCE. A mobile app that simplified discovery & tracking of cryptomedia that people actually care about. While hundreds of you like @fascinated joined us, we alluded to something bigger...

Inspired by how tools like @ourZORA and @metalabel_xyz help creatives publish, distribute, and monetize their work online. We saw an opportunity to build a new kind of publishing protocol that uses attribution as a positive sum tool in the age of AI-first creativity.

Bundled into an image editor, SOURCE gives everyone a wide variety of creative media and artist-trained AI models to create with. Meanwhile, SOURCE attributes all media and models used within a composition where their creators receive a split of the new asset's proceeds.

The next generation of creative interfaces will empower their users with digital ownership. With SOURCE, we're using shared ownership to help creatives retain attribution, spread their work online, and monetize collectively.
