React Email now has 2M weekly downloads on npm, that is a 108% increase since the last major release 5 months ago. We would like to thank all the 196 open source contributors who made this possible.

1️⃣ Open-source editor The centerpiece of React Email 6 is a new open-source visual editor you can embed directly in your app with a few lines of code. It outputs email-ready HTML that renders correctly in email inboxes.

The editor is built in two layers: - Core: works out of the box with no configuration. - Extensions: custom features you can build using the composable API

To style your editor: 🔸 Use a default theme 🔸 Create your own theme

2️⃣ Build your own extensions Use the composable API to build anything your users need: - upload images to a CDN - embed social posts - render charts inline in an email See examples:

Each custom node defines both its HTML representation and its React Email output via renderToReactEmail.

3️⃣ New Templates React Email 6 also ships with a new collection of templates created by our friends at @trycharacter for common use cases, including authentication flows and e-commerce sequences. See the templates 👉

4️⃣ Unified package We've unified all React Email components into a single package. (Note: This does not include the Editor, which needs to be installed separately.) We've also moved what was @react-email/preview-server into what's now @react-email/ui.

To update an existing project using React Email 5, see our full upgrade guide.

We're excited to see the new possibilities that the open-source editor and the new templates will bring to the community. Read the full announcement 👇

Devs who build on open source tooling evangelize it harder than any marketing team ever could.

Perfect timing, will definitely add it.

fuckkk. this is soo gooodddd

Bullish

Guys, if you ever find a way for ordinary folk to understand and use your services, Resend would go to the stratosphere... The reality is that you always hear or are referred to the site but the process confuses and frustrates the living daylights....

Sorry to hear that it's been a rough experience! What processes are you trying to work through that you're finding harder than they need to be? We'd love to improve them.

embed in app is a huge upgrade.

Oh my god, thank you

This sounds nice: "It also takes care of inconsistencies between Gmail, Outlook, and other email clients for you."

How about an email CLI? I built one but not satisfied with the speed despite my best attempts in Rust and would love to see some more attempts!

We released our email CLI version 2.0 on Wednesday!

Full TUI incoming?

How do you prevent gmail from bouncing your mail, when it’s anew domain?

We've got a bunch of deliverability tips outlined here: These should help your emails land in the inbox instead of being caught in spam folders.

@McDaniel0011 Checking your technical setup with a tool like Unspam Email can help catch those DNS or blacklisting issues early. It’s usually those boring server settings that cause the most trouble.

@resend Thank you

Leerob's tutorials = Resend tutorials. 🔥

Lfgggg

Scrolling X while my AI is processing code paid off again!

time for someone to build the marketplace for resend extensions

Man I was gonna build one.. D; gj guys!

Excited for this!

🔥

Congratulations and this is definitely gonna get integrated into @enstateco the timing couldn’t be better!

Whoa. Email went from static templates → custom HTML (still painful) → now a full visual editor you can just drop into your app. Wild how far this has come.

This is good news for .

Email editors are notoriously hard to get right. Embeddable + brandable + extensible is the holy trinity. Open sourcing it was the right call - this is infrastructure every product needs but nobody wants to build from scratch.
