We continued our deliberations this evening, during which I chaired a panel focused on creating a comprehensive framework for intergovernmental and stakeholder collaboration to address insecurity in Northern Nigeria and the nation as a whole. Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow, where we'll revisit our recommendations and deepen our dialogue on establishing this vital framework.

The summit is a gathering of global stakeholders including governments, leading AI companies, experts in research and civil society groups. As a nation of innovators and entrepreneurs, Nigeria must recognise the significance of Artificial Intelligence and the urgent need to explore and use it for the good of humanity. I would also like to thank the UK Government for inviting us to be part of the UK AI for Development Programme which will support our efforts to improve AI research and inclusive datasets.
