In a circular economy, yesterday’s waste becomes tomorrow’s resources. The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources through LAWMA , is making that vision real by transforming fruit waste into clean energy through innovative processing in line with The Lagos State Govt Waste-to-Energy initiative. At Ikosi Market, organic waste was collected and converted into liquid for biogas production. It is one of many ways we are turning waste into environmental solutions for Lagos.
