🇮🇹 The great Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, performs Puccini's classic "Nessun Dorma" at the opening of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. Italy is back, with class and style, and while cherishing her past, she has a renewed hope for the future. #Olympics2026

Today is International Women’s Day. Today is also the first day of the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Italy. The Special Olympics were founded by an extraordinary woman, my mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, in 1968. I continue to go to Special Olympic gatherings with my kids, not just because my mother started the organization or my brother Timothy Shriver runs it today, but because of the way the games make me feel. I go to Special Olympics events to be inspired. Special Olympic events help me rise above the noise. They reconnect me to my mother, and they connect me to the best of humanity from around the globe. I share this speech with you today from the opening ceremony of the 1987 Special Olympics World Summer Games. I share this message of hope, this message of inclusion, this message of love. May we embrace it, teach it, and pass it on. #internationalwomensday

Director Paul Greengrass is back in theaters September 11th with a film called The Uprising & folks, you should know Greengrass by name & his work without hesitation at this point. At 71, Greengrass has spent the last 30 years directing the hell out of great films. Greengrass just dropped a quality film last year, The Lost Bus, which is a damn good survival thriller featuring Matthew McConaughey. We all collectively need to add Greengrass’s name to the list of great directors rolling out a new release in 2026. Excited for this one.

For the first time ever, the Israeli bobsled team has qualified for the 2026 Winter Olympics! This moment for Israel 🇮🇱 mirrors what happened with the Jamaican bobsled team in 1988. Two countries not known for being particularly snowy rose to the occasion to dominate in winter sports. The entire country is so proud.
