learned a lot from this conversation with Simon Mo and Matt Bornstein. biggest takeaways for me: -there are a lot of reasons why we should like open-weight models. a lot of these arguments stop at handwavy things like "what if the labs stop releasing frontier models to the public" or "it's lower cost." but simon's position as lead maintainer of vLLM and CEO of Inferact give him authority to talk about some of the other, more interesting and concrete reasons to pay attention to open-weight models, namely that they allow end-users to calibrate latency / other performance metrics with way more customizability than what any of the frontier closed-source labs offer (and without the fear that your job might be met with a refusal at some random point where you're deep in a 2 hour job) -re: the above point...for this reason, a lot of US companies (inferact included!) choose to use open-weight models over their closed-source alternatives. this also isn't limited to internal workloads / research - on a recent a16z podcast the team at Decagon spoke about how something like 90% of their customer service ai agents run on open-weight models that they've fine-tuned. -we should really appreciate how many companies/teams came out researchers fascinated by the wave of very small open-weight models that were being distilled from e.g. gpt-3.5 and earlier models in 2022/2023 (prior to the release of chatGPT!). these small models motivated the development of pagedattention, which then led to vlmm/inferact (at other layers of the stack with similar origin stories, you can look at teams like openrouter or ollama). in other words, we have open-weight models to thank for a bunch of the orchestration infra we now rely on. i think yet another, indirect, way we can point to open-source/weight infra pushing the frontier forward. anyway, a lot more in this convo, it was a lot of fun!

I nearly 2x'd the speed while only using +1GB VRAM with the new MTP update in llama.cpp ๐Ÿคฏ You need to add these flags to start using it: --spec-type draft-mtp \ --spec-draft-p-min 0.75 \ --spec-draft-n-max 2 My results with Qwen3.6 27B on a single RTX 5080 โ†“ โšช๏ธ no flag (without mtp) โ†’ 54.3 tok/s with 13.26GB VRAM ๐Ÿ”ต --spec-draft-n-max 2 โ†’ 90.7 tok/s with 14.29GB VRAM ๐Ÿ”ด --spec-draft-n-max 2 --spec-draft-p-min 0.75 โ†’ 93.9 tok/s with 14.30GB VRAM ๐ŸŸข --spec-draft-n-max 6 --spec-draft-p-min 0.75 โ†’ 93.9 tok/s with 14.87GB VRAM Increasing to 6 draft tokens didn't help my setup for some reason. I made sure to test with a low context length to have enough headroom and eliminate risk of vram stress. From my understanding: 1) The speed gains are very task-dependent. You need to test across a wide range of tasks to get a realistic idea of the benefits 2) Weโ€™re already running heavily quantized GGUF models (Q3, Q4, Q6, etc.), so we already benefit from strong speed/performance thanks to the reduced size. Thatโ€™s why some people are seeing little to no improvement compared to MLX or other quantized versions The progress over the past few days has been insane to say the least. However, MTP now consumes significantly more VRAM. Personally 16GB just isn't enough to use MTP and run it with a good context size. Time to upgrade lads, 24GB+ users are eating GOOD today ๐Ÿ”ฅ Full setup below โ†“

The NFL has the Super Bowl today, and #yoursffd has the Super Save! Quarterback FF/PM Jay Weber calls an audible, and KOBE is rescued by Receiver FF/EJ Nave in a stunning play! ๐Ÿˆ The play starts with canine KOBE falling into the Bay and getting stuck, with nowhere to go for help, but the rescue team isn't having it. They lure him back to the bay with a clever tactic, and it's Rescue Boat 35 to the rescue! Rescue Swimmer FF/EJ Nave deployed, buoy secured, Kobe is brought back to safety! The crowd goes wild as Kobe reunites with his human companion, tired but grateful for the excellent care from #YOURSFFD and his owner. *FINAL PLAY:* Kobe's safe, sound, and home with his family. Incident closed! ๐Ÿ˜Ž โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” At 2:30 PM today, the San Francisco Fire Department received multiple 911 calls about a dog that had fallen off a pier near McCovey Cove. The fire departmentโ€™s land and marine rescue teams arrived swiftly and met with the owner, who reported that her dog had jumped into the water after chasing a bird. With no way to escape, the dog was swimming frantically and becoming increasingly exhausted. The SFFD Paramedic Rescue Boat 35 (RB35) operated by Firefighter/Paramedic Jay Weber, located the dog, named Kobe, underneath a pier. Using voice commands, the rescue boat was able to lure Kobe to open water and deployed a rescue swimmer FF/EJ Nave. RB35 secured a buoy around the dog and brought him back to the boat. Kobe was then reunited with his owner and received care from the SFFD and his human. He is now home safe and resting with his family. Incident closed!

Payout denied by FunderPro sharing my experience Owen Morton FunderPro MyForexFirms Prop Firm Match Prop Firm Eye I had a $100K 2-Step Classic account with FunderPro. I requested my 2nd payout of $952 on 6 Dec 2025. After 5+ days with no update, I contacted Discord support. They said the payout team was informed and they would check. On 12 Dec, I received an email stating: My payout was rejected My account was closed Reason: โ€œSuspicious trading activity & inconsistent with termsโ€ I am attaching a video of my dashboard which i recorded before requesting the payout There you will se one failed acc I have never failed any master acc , They had a server migration so they closed that acc and gave me new acc with same bal So you ll find trades in 2 acc My dashboard access was deleted, I was removed from Discord, and Iโ€™ve been unable to log in since. At the time of trading, only 2 rules existed: 20% margin rule News trading rule I never violated either. My trading details: Risked 1โ€“1.2% per trade One trade per day One pair only Same strategy throughout I have screen recordings of all trades I emailed support asking for clarification and access. They gave me a ticket ID, then went silent for 5โ€“6 days. Later, they said they donโ€™t have access to my ticket ID. They asked me to create a ticket via the dashboard โ€” I explained I cannot log in. They said it might be a glitch and asked me to reset my password. I tried. No success. I contacted a FunderPro affiliate. He said heโ€™d look into it , asked me to create another ticket , after some days there was no response from him or FunderPro. In January, I emailed again. I received the same generic reply: > โ€œSuspicious and inconsistent trading behaviourโ€ I asked them to clearly explain: Which rule I violated Which trade was inconsistent How my trading breached their terms I still havenโ€™t received a clear explanation. Iโ€™m posting this for transparency. If my trading was inconsistent, Iโ€™m open to facts โ€” but I deserve a specific, rule-based explanation. I request Owen Morton FunderPro To look into this and honour my Payout

Today weโ€™re partnering with AWS to launch Superblocks 3.0: the secure way for employees to vibe code production enterprise software. In a single prompt, Superblocks can replace million dollar SaaS, while IT & Security stay in control. OpenAI and Anthropic are releasing new models with advanced cyber attack capability and vibe coding is every company's achilles heel: > Personal Replit accounts store untracked customer data. > Lovable prototypes with your data open to the public internet. > Claude on the desktop pulls malicious packages. How Superblocks 3.0 works: 1. Superblocks Builds: Import vibe coded prototypes. Model routing picks the best frontier or open source model per task. Saves up to 30% on token costs. 2. Superblocks Secures: A swarm of security agents work like a real human team to find and fix vulnerabilities. 3. Superblocks Deploys: Unlike consumer vibe coding tools that send your data to their cloud, Superblocks deploys the application, database, and AI inference securely inside your private AWS environment. Superblocks 3.0 is trusted across enterprises like Instacart, Benchling, and even banks and social networks with the most stringent security requirements. Book a demo here: Everyone says, โ€œAI is replacing SaaSโ€, yet find me a Fortune 500 company that has vibe coded its own CRM instead of using Salesforce. That changes today. To celebrate our launch, we're building 1,000 enterprise apps for free. Comment a SaaS tool you hate and why, and we'll reply with an enterprise-grade replacement.

How to Identify Agents with Sound Alone: Audio Profiles Each agent in VALORANT has a unique walk sound. We can use this to identify who is moving around without seeing them AND without them using abilities. Each agent has unique tells, here's Proof: Key: (How Easy it is to Identify who is running) ๐ŸŸข - Extremely Easy to identify without trying ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat difficult until you know what to listen for ๐Ÿ”ด - Difficult, and needs practice In order of their names Alphabetically (up to Miks in release date) Astra - ๐ŸŸข. Astra has golden, loose jewelry. This makes it easy to identify her because she is one of the only agents that you can hear it, and of those agents, it's the most consistent. She also has lighter steps as she is meant to be smaller than the other agents 5'6 (170cm) Breach - ๐ŸŸข. Breach is easily identifiable by the heavy boots that he wears. He is one of the loudest agents in terms of walking as his boots as well as his radianite arms that are also quite loud, being made of metal. Brimstone - ๐ŸŸข. Similar to Breach, Brim is also easily identifiable due to how heavy his footsteps are. What separates him from Breach is his boots are leather but stomps, likely coming from his military background. Chamber - ๐ŸŸก. Chamber is what started this entire thing for me. You can identify chamber by his loose gold watch, which chimes as he walks. The reason this is yellow circle and not green is because it is not as frequent as Astra and he wears sneakers, which the majority of the cast wear. So besides the watch it can be somewhat difficult to identify, if you're not actively listening for it. Clove - ๐ŸŸก. Clove is somewhat difficult, but what makes them unique is how soft / quiet they walk. They are very light, wears shoes that have a lot of cushion and is meant to feel like a smaller character, canonically 5'6 / 168cm. Cypher ๐Ÿ”ด - Despite playing a lot of Cypher, I have a really hard time differentiating him from other characters with similar patterns like Viper and Fade. Comapred to Fade, I would say his have more bass. Deadlock ๐ŸŸข - The only person you could mix Deadlock up with is Sova. However, Deadlock's walk has a much more "wet" sound to it, as if she were crushing in soft snow with her snow boots. Fade ๐Ÿ”ด - Too similar to other agents, especially Cypher makes it very hard to tell. The only thing that makes her unique is her consistency, the decibel spread is almost nothing. Gekko ๐ŸŸก- Also pretty hard, as he is one of the many average weight sneaker users. He is very similar to Killjoy, but with more bass which is how i remember. He's wearing vans, it sounds like rubber. Harbor ๐ŸŸข - Extremely easy. You can hear his braclet from a mile away. One of the more unique ones. Iso ๐Ÿ”ด- Another middleweight flat shoe wearer. I think he is meant to be heavier than agents like Gekko and Miks who sound similar. This is one wear you have to look at who is alive to differentiate between him and other agents. Jett ๐ŸŸข- Extremely easy, maybe because I've heard it so much with the Jetts in my games, but I think the idea is she is meant to feel light and dainty, as if the wind is carrying her. That's why she walks so soft. She is also meant to be quite small at 5'4 / 164cm which corroborates the quiet steps. KAY/O ๐ŸŸข- The easiest. Even people who don't play VALORANT could tell you that's the sound of a robot. The metal makes it very easy to tell. Killjoy ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat difficult, I think the giveaway are the boots. Like I said about Gekko, hers in comparison create softer sounds. Miks ๐Ÿ”ด - Really disappointed that Miks, the sound guy doesn't have anything unique to his walk. It is similar to Gekkos, in that it is rubbery but also muddy. Neon ๐ŸŸข- Iconic. Being a runner, she is wearing running shoes. Not much said, I think anyone could hear the difference. Omen ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat difficult. You are listening for a "wet" sound when he walks. He has been out for long enough where I can hear it distinctly enough. Phoenix ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat difficult. You are listening for the same rubbery sound as Miks, but with a lot more bass, he drags his feet somewhat. Raze ๐ŸŸก - Hard to hear at first, but you are listening for a "mud" / squish sound. Similar to Omen, but not "stompy" Reyna ๐ŸŸข- Maybe just me but I have an easy time hearing Reyna's. This is the one I can identify the quickest in game. I listen for a lot of bass towards the front of her step, as she has raised shoes which put more impact on her toes / balls of her feet. The sound is unique enough where you can her pretty clearly. Sage ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat difficult. Can be confused with Raze sometimes, as you are also listening for a "muddy sound" Skye ๐ŸŸข- Very easy, she has trail shoes. Makes sense, she's from Australia. Sova ๐ŸŸข- Again, similar to deadlock, Sova has boots made for winter, and there are feint sounds of him walking on ice. This one is somewhat similar to Skye, but not enough to mistakes the two. His has more bass. Tejo ๐ŸŸก - I didn't play as much when Tejo was popular, and this could be why I don't hear much differences in Gekko and Miks as well, but I find Tejo easier because of his heavty duty boots. Veto ๐ŸŸก - Somewhat hard to hear, only because I haven't played enough but there is dampness and a muddy sound to his walk similar to Raze, Omen etc. with that rubbery sound Viper ๐ŸŸก - somewhat hard to hear. Again, I think she sounds very similar to Fade and Cypher. But I think she is easier to identify because of the bass in each step. Vyse ๐ŸŸข - Very easy once you start listening. She has a lot of metal attached to her, which you can hear. Waylay ๐Ÿ”ด - Another middleweight rubber user. Hard to hear, but I haven't played with/against enough Waylay to really know her pattern. Yoru ๐ŸŸข - Iconic sound, you have been conditioned to hear this sound over and over with the Fake Footsteps and the reworked Yoru Clone + his fake clone of himself, he is most commonly walking around rather than sneaking, so you will probably become very accustom to him. Things to note: 1. These noises are NOT client / team sided. At the end of this video I show my friend walking as Chamber and Phoenix, you can hear a clear difference. He is on the ENEMY team, not mine. 2. You are NOT relying on audio alone. Agents all have their unique abilities which are significantly more telling of who is nearby compared to footsteps. The point of this exercise is to help identify WHO is there if there is no other way of knowing. 3. It is not meant to be used every round, hell even every game. I have really good hearing, so I can make good use of it. But as you can see by the red circles, it is not universal. Again, there are other more obvious ways of telling who is nearby. 4. But how is this useful? Well for me, I like to memorize the Controllers the most, because if I can identify that the sound of a controller's footsteps. I know they are not lurking, which allows for a little more peace of mind for my teammates rotating onto my site. 5. I used the same spot on purpose to show that they have different sound profiles. HOWEVER, it is important to note that with the different surfaces that you can run across, some of the noises that I described could sound different or harder to hear.

Rolled credits on Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties: Review: A massive visual and technical overhaul that brings the sunny beaches of Okinawa to life. The new combat system and Morning Glory minigame are the stars of the show, the latter of which has been transformed into a surprisingly addictive farming sim. Kiwami 3 starts out with Kiryu and Haruka leaving Kamurocho to take over the Morning Glory orphanage in Okinawa. Kiryu grew up in an orphanage, so it's only right that he gives back. The early hours of the game are spent introducing you to the new characters, and building bonds with them through the expansive new minigame. Morning Glory is a crucial location to Kiryu's story, and the new storyline gives it impact, rather than just being a backdrop. The pacing is kind of slow in the beginning, but the payoff is a high-stakes thriller that puts both the orphanage and the Tojo Clan at risk. It quickly goes from a slice of life to a CIA thriller. If you've played the original, then some of the character redesigns lack the same charm IMO. Rikiya is supposed to be clumsy and a bit of a goofball, but extremely loyal, and eager for Kiryu's approval. The new character model (although he was great in Tokyo Vice) feels more 'serious' and loses some of the original's energy. Similar can be said about old man Nakahara. Combat has been overhauled however. Dragon of Dojima Style feels refined and heavy, and is probably the best implementation of the classic 'Dragon Style' combat system yet, ideal for taking down bosses 1v1. The new Ryukyu Style is built for taking down mobs. It lets you cycle through an arsenal of weapons, each with unique special effects, and large AoE attacks that can take out entire groups in seconds. In addition to Morning Glory, The "Haisai Girls" minigame is a surprisingly deep minigame that essentially turns this into Dynasty Warriors! You manage a biker gang, recruit members, and fight massive real-time battles against dozens of enemies at once. It has an entire storyline, and I'm surprised it wasn't marketed more! As for Dark Ties, it's a roughly 3 hour playthrough that's a must play for Yakuza fans. It dives deeper into Mineโ€™s backstory and explains some of the... plot twists that were featured in the base game. The soundtrack is also excellent (better than the main game), and the faster pace is a refreshing break from the base gameโ€™s slower burn. Final Verdict: Kiwami 3 is the logical next step for those coming off Kiwami 2, one of my favorites in the series. Fans of the original may be disappointed with some of the changes, but the expanded Morning Glory and the refined combat system makes this the definitive way to experience Kiryu's Okinawa chapter. Returning to the streets of Kamurocho always feels like home and Dark Ties was a nice bonus that leaves questions for the future of the series. Kagawa should have been recast, and I'm still not sure why they changed up such key characters to the game, but it's a solid remake that ushers in a new era for the franchise. ๐ŸŸข Combat is at an all time high ๐ŸŸข Morning Glory content steals the show ๐ŸŸข Dark Ties is an added bonus that's mandatory for fans ๐ŸŸข Character models look excellent ๐Ÿ”ด Kagawa should have been recast ๐Ÿ”ด New character redesigns lack the charm of the original Final Score: 7.5/10 (Good) Playtime: 30 hours Platform: Steam Thank you to SEGA and RGG Studio for providing review code. #YakuzaKiwami3 #LikeADragon

I just found one of the biggest platform bug on Polymarket that cost me my $8.5k portfolio today. Please watch this video. I opened the exact same BTC 5m market on two different devices right next to each other. My computer monitor shows 2 minutes and 50 seconds remaining. My MacBook shows 4 minutes and 02 seconds remaining. There is more than a full minute of time difference on the exact same live market. This video is undeniable proof of exactly why I lost my money today. I was trading on my computer earlier and I waited until the 5m time frame end. When Polymarket UI showed me on my computer the timeframe was completely over and the price was safely above the target, I placed a market up order to provide liquidity. I was 100 percent sure it was a zero risk move because your platform timer showed me the market was already finished and BTC price is up from the beat price. But because of this bug my computer timer was closing 1 minute earlier than the real market time. So after I placed my order believing the market was settled as Up, the actual market was still open. It kept counting the Bitcoin price movements for the next full minute after I placed my trade. During that hidden extra minute the price of BTC dropped and the market finally settled Down, instantly wiping out my entire portfolio. When people told me it might be a UI delay I was shocked, but now I have it on video. The Polymarket timer is completely broken and out of sync across devices. My Polymarket wallet address is: 0xf0AD2eeb8F898619460a38c015a7897a4E797651 Trade URL 1: Trade URL 2: On those above two trade i lost total $8500 The first video I just recorded now when i noticed this bugs and the second video i made when my trade lost and i didnโ€™t have any reason how its happened. I am begging Shayne Coplan ๐Ÿฆ… and the Polymarket support team to review this video. I did not make a trading mistake. I trusted a broken platform timer that showed completely wrong data and forced me into an active market I thought was closed. Please fix this massive bug protect your user and refund my loses.
