Looking at the crowd and the energy, Modi ji said to me: “Shabash Bandi.” His smile that day is something I even cherish to this day. Later, when we secured victories in GHMC elections, Dubbaka, and Huzurabad by-elections, he kept applauding our achievements saying: “Shabash Bandi.” It takes a big heart to laud our small achievements and encourage karyakartas like me. People often talk about Hindi imposition. But during the BJP National Executive meeting, when Modi Ji asked me to speak about my Praja Sangrama Yatra, I began in Hindi.
