When all we know is calories in versus calories out and move your ass harder at the gym, our body holds onto fat for dear life! Especially once we’re over 35 Especially once we’ve had children Especially when we’re in perimenopause or menopause Especially when we have no idea how to regulate our nervous system You see when your body does not feel safe , meaning it constantly is in fight or flight mode from all of the so-called dinosaurs chasing you every day, it won’t release the weight. Our bodies are actually very simple It’s just that they feel like they’re most important job is to keep you alive not thin 🤷‍♀️ So when you are constantly dealing with chronic stress every day, it shuts down your digestive track as well as disrupts your hormones and inflames your body, all to keep you alive. I know it seems counterproductive, but after all you are alive still, right! if you want to truly lose weight and keep it off and actually feel healthy enough to get good sleep and enjoy your life. It’s not going to be about calories in versus calories out. It’s not going to be about killing yourself in the gym. It’s going to be about learning to regulate your nervous system and get out of chronic stress mode ! This is possible I’ve done it And yes, I’m 50 years old and have three kids and homeschooled and own my own business and went through a divorce and have much trauma and abuse and neglect and everything else that you want to put on the plate . I’m trying to compute the last couple days and honestly I’m absolutely fucking shattered. You have been my North Star for everything for as long as I can remember from when I was misunderstood as a child to the way people thought I was just a little “too much” or “strange” in my life and career. Had to tap back in to all my guys out there who - like me - no longer have our fathers to say Happy Father’s Day to. My old man died suddenly a few years ago. Unfortunately, we got in a fight about a month earlier and I never reconciled with him or even had a chance to say goodbye. So for me, every Father’s Day has become very tricky because there’s a lot pain. But every Father’s Day is also one of my greatest days because I have three amazing daughters who tell me, I love you and Happy Fathers Day. To my guys out there, if your old man is still around - consider it a blessing. Even if you and your dad are working thru some complicated shit. I’ve been there and I understand. But do your best to reconcile and get that drama behind you and get right with your dad. It’s important. Because the alternative is regret and I don’t want that for you. Happy Fathers Day. Today, I want to thank each and every one of our veterans. You make this country the greatest country in the world. You put yourselves at risk for all of us. You served us, and now you deserve our service. I also want to ask all of my followers and fans to do more than enjoy the holiday or post a picture of a flag. It is our turn to serve these heroes. My tradition is bringing pizza to the vets at the Veterans Affairs center in LA and hanging with them to make sure they know how thankful I am. You can make your own tradition - thank a veteran, buy them dinner, or just write to your politicians and demand that we take better care of our heroes.

There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. I have businesses willing to sponsor me on 𝕏 for a single post and pay me amounts that many people have to work months for. And this didn’t happen overnight. I spent years building my own brand, my own audience, and my own businesses. But that’s the difference between spending your life building someone else’s dream and spending it building your own. You have to wait for your shift to end to go home and spend time with your kids. My kids are right next to me. We’re working together, learning together, using Grok, asking questions, and experiencing life together. You count down the hours until you can leave work. You count down the days until the weekend. You count down the years until retirement. I don’t want to spend the best years of my life waiting until 65 to finally start living. I’d rather be dead, for real. I’m living right now. And that’s what people don’t understand about freedom. It’s not about owning the biggest house, the nicest watch, or the most expensive car. None of that shit really matters when you actually get it. It’s about owning your time. It’s about being able to work from anywhere. It’s about being present with your kids while they’re still kids. It’s about looking up when a seaplane flies over you instead of being too busy staring at the clock waiting for your shift to end. Technology like Starlink made this kind of life possible for me. I can be in the middle of the water and still work, build, learn, create, make $ money, and stay connected to the entire world. My office has no walls. My income isn’t decided by a boss. My schedule doesn’t need anyone’s approval. My kids don’t have to wait until I get home to spend time with me. And I don’t have to wait until I’m 65 to start living. We are not the same.
