I suspect children are more capable than adults imagine.

This is great information to know for parents. There needs to be more routine education around this. Side note: Why aren’t companies making “parenting” more of a priority vs. topics such as DEI? Employers. Implementing items such as this helps elevate your company to the next level. It’s not always about bonuses & cash. Each person has different motivators. Understand their “why.” Spending the day with my daughter (when it’s supported by my boss) is way more important to me vs. a gift card.

Bookmark and share. Suppressed anger creates inflammation in our bodies. Chronic inflammation causes autoimmune disorders. Being “good girls” being pleasant, polite, “easy” making us sick. Forced forgiveness (when it’s actually denying our reality) is making us sick. May we stop conditioning young girls to not have boundaries— and to put other people’s comfort before their own. May we heal by teaching people *why* they’re angry, by showing them how to express it in healthy ways, and how to create as a way to release it.
