Ursula von der Leyen is openly calling for new energy systems and smart infrastructure. Right on time. Dependency is the goal. Because dependency creates compliance. Tie that to digital ID… And access becomes conditional.

Infrastructure is at the heart of our development agenda in Lagos. Through deliberate investments and sustained work across the state, we are improving our roads, transportation infrastructure and critical infrastructure that supports commerce and keeps Lagos moving. These efforts reflect our commitment to building infrastructure that serves the needs of a growing Lagos and creates an environment where people and businesses can thrive. There is still more work to do and we remain focused on delivering A Greater Lagos for All.

AI without sovereign infrastructure creates new dependencies. Sovereign compute changes that. Siada data center is how we're helping enterprises and governments keep AI workloads and data under their own jurisdiction.

Intelligence is becoming infrastructure. The question is: who owns it and who does it serve? Emad on why we’re building the Intelligent Internet: a system where AI creates real public value and proves it.

The National Infrastructure Fund is one of the most consequential pieces of legislation in present-day Kenya. Through this framework, commercially viable infrastructure projects that are critical to driving economic transformation can be financed outside the traditional budgetary framework. This approach eases pressure on the Exchequer and creates fiscal space for the government to prioritise other crucial sectors such as health, education and social protection, while ensuring that transformative infrastructure continues to be delivered.

During the dotcom bubble, 97% of America’s fiber was dark because infrastructure was built years ahead of demand. Today’s AI buildout looks nothing like that. The comment “there are no dark GPUs” means every GPU produced is already reserved or monetized the moment it ships. This is the difference between speculative infrastructure & fully utilized infrastructure.

$DDOG fits into agentic AI stack because AI makes infrastructure much more complex across models, managing GPU fleets, monitoring token costs and production workflows. That creates a massive monitoring problem and Datadog monetizes it by becoming the dashboard for AI complexity.
