[7] ‘Some of your descendants who come from you will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ ” and gifts to Hezekiah caused him soooo much excitement that he shared secrets or stuff in his treasuries with the enemy things he ought not to have done so 🤔🤔🤔🤔 *Result:* All what had been collected in the past was to be taken away and even some of his descendants would land into trouble *Why?* Because of a forefather who got excited and said what he needed not to have said. Like Hezekiah, Solomon’s display of glory preceded the kingdom being carried off. *The common thread:* 1. Leader gets blessed/recovers 2. Gets prideful and shows off God’s blessings/treasures to foreigners 3.
