Tokenization as Infrastructure, Not a Shortcut In this clip, André Casterman explains why tokenization is best understood as an upgrade to the internet’s financial infrastructure, not a guarantee of liquidity or success. Tokenization does not create demand on its own. Liquidity still matters. What it does change is the efficiency of how value moves. Cheaper settlement. Faster transfer. Native verifiability. Stablecoins are a clear example. Instead of routing payments through correspondent banking and local clearing entities, value can move directly by transferring tokens. The asset does not need to be physically moved or reconciled across jurisdictions. The result is lower cost and less friction. Verifiability is the real unlock. Unlike physical assets, which require costly and invasive processes to prove authenticity, tokenized assets can be verified on-chain, publicly, and without altering the asset itself. When tokenized economies, real world assets, and global payments fully migrate to digital rails, value won’t be scattered, it’ll concentrate, just as it did when the dollar became the world’s reserve currency. XRP was architected to sit at the center of that consolidation as the neutral bridge asset for global liquidity and settlement. That’s why the price must be significantly higher. For XRP to efficiently handle trillions in daily cross-border value flows without massive slippage and market disruption, its unit price needs to be high enough that only a small number of tokens are required to move enormous amounts of money. So a higher price creates the necessary depth and efficiency for institutional-scale liquidity. That’s liquidity mathematics under constrained supply and exploding demand. At $5 or even $50, XRP can’t achieve its own objective to function as the primary settlement layer for a tokenized global economy. The math will demand a much higher price for it to operate at the scale it was designed for. That’s the real utility thesis most people still don’t seem to understand. At this point, it’s clear most people won’t understand it until it’s too late.

Tokenized gold is a scam Peter Schiff doesn't understand counterparty risk He is creating a honeypot with gold Since gold is physical, it has to be kept somewhere (this reminds me of Fort Knox) If someone knows the location of this gold, they can take it (eg. governments) With Bitcoin, you can take self-custody and it doesn't need to be "tokenized" because it's native to the internet

In my humble opinion, by 2030, that is in just 5 years, equities across the world are going to be tokenized and traded on chain. Our demat shares will be linked to blockchain wallets.
