Told Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball that Tehran may commit the same mistake as the US, overplay their hand, and seek Trump's humiliation. That would be a huge mistake. Both sides need to be able to put forward a credible narrative of victory in order to end this senseless war.

With groundtroops, there will be a lot of Americans killed - not just higher gas prices - which will make it much more difficult for Trump to construct a narrative of victory.
