The criticism of the Fletcher twins is way over the top. Jack and Tyler are two of the brightest midfield prospects United have produced in years. Jack’s vision and passing range stand out, while Tyler brings composure, work rate and technical quality. With games coming thick and fast across multiple competitions, academy players like them can provide valuable depth if developed properly. Carrick has a chance to bring out the best in both of them. Hopefully, he gives them the opportunities to prove what they can do.

The Departed turns 20 this year. I honestly can’t even believe I’m writing that sentence- time flies. This is the only film to win Martin Scorsese an #Oscar for Best Picture. It’s also one of my favorite films ever made featuring my favorite actor- Jack Nicholson. A masterpiece.
