Love it. I have always stressed to my two boys over the years, don't sleep on the intangibles. Your opponent may be a 5-star and you're not, but gain an edge by being more prepped, smart, lining up first, observing, etc.

This applies to everything in life. You would take an employee that gives you 7/10 everyday and sometimes 9/10 over someone that gives you 10/10 one day and 3/10 the next day.

Yes, it's to develop big leaguers, and yes, it's all the things that we all talk about in recruiting, but more than anything, it's to prepare these kids to be successful for whatever comes next.
