Underrated movie

This is a tangent of a soap box of a post, but of all the films that were up for awards like Emilia Pérez or Wicked or Anora or The Brutalist or The Substance or even Dune Part 2 . . . I would have personally liked a reset of Hollywood (as the picture was more old school) with The Bikeriders being the winner at the Oscars or even just a simple nominee. Side tangent but for the picture studios to get their focus back (and to make good scripts again) movies need to be in the cinema more than just a few short weeks before they go to streaming on your phone, but that’s another post. Great scene by Tom btw and thanks for the subtitles (it’s usually needed with Hardy). ☮️

Jesus Christ with the VOICES. Can this man ever just talk in a normal voice? It’s not even like they add to the character, I’m actually distracted by how they sound more like caricatures than real people. He’s such a good actor but the voices take me out of it every time.

"It is what it is." applies to almost everything. acceptance is beginnings of healing.
