Ana Sayfaya Dön

Tom has always approached his work with a fearlessness that's rare & contagious. Receiving the honorary Oscar felt like what many have known for years: TC is the very soul of passion in cinema. Congrats, my friend. Let the celebration continue from story to story & film to film.

“For many years, the narrative has always been about what Africa lacks. Our story is about what South Sudan has & the support we are receiving. Our government has been very supportive. I believe they will continue to support, not only basketball but also the youth in general”- LD

My relationship with Scarface has changed over the years. Like many high schoolers, I first felt this was the best film ever, only to fall a little out of love with this in college & beyond. But now, I’ve come to appreciate Scarface for what it is: a bombastic, loud masterpiece.

Is Paddington the best animated film ever made? If it’s not, tell me what is because I think Paddington is in the conversation at a minimum, including a film like Toy Story or Up. There are so many to choose from. But Paddington is Cinema is excellence, regardless of whether it’s an animated film or not.

Boogie Nights is an astonishing film & the fact this is Paul Thomas Anderson’s second film blows my mind. I have no idea how he got Burt Reynolds, a living legend, to sign on to this film. I wish Reynolds would’ve won the Oscar, it would’ve made for a great Hollywood story.

#RjBalaji: When the trailer released, TN people Said, "Rj balaji is the villain for Suriya..?" I want to keep quiet and let the film to speak for itself.. Trailer has the proper story.. Apart from the trailer, the film has a lot of surprises..🤝💥

#SilambarasanTR about #Arasan 🔥: “Just like #Dhurandhar recently represented Bollywood and made them proud across India, we are working on something similar from Tamil cinema..💥 This is not a small film.. The story has a huge journey, from my younger years to old age. The film has 6 getups, with many characters..😲 We have completed 3 characters so far, but there are still some portions pending to be completed..✌️"

Had this talk with Mira Sethi a couple of weeks ago & I always have the greatest respect for individuals who stick to their principles. We need many more people in our film industry who have the courage to say & do what is right

The Impossible was my introduction to Tom Holland. Holland was only 14 years old when production on this film began in August 2010. The story of a family caught in the middle of a disastrous tsunami, I like to think the physicality of this role- even at a young age- helped put Holland in a position to take his career to the next level. This film is absolutely outstanding.

Al Pacino earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for playing Frank Serpico in Sidney Lumet’s 1973 film Serpico. Pacino’s energy & intensity is off the charts in this film & in a lot of ways, he carries this movie. This story is heartbreaking & Pacino handles it with care. 🎂

#WATCH | Mumbai | Superstar Shah Rukh Khan addresses the media after the success of #Jawan "...Of course, it's a celebration...Very seldom do we get an opportunity to live with a film for years. Jawan has been in the making for four years - because of COVID and time constraints. But there were so many people involved in this film, especially people down from South who came and shifted to Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years working day and night for this film, the hardest ever..."

The Whale is definitely Darren Aronofsky at his worst. It could be the most boring and uneventful film in the history of cinema. Brendan Fraser deserved another Oscar for managing to give an award-worthy performance out of a story where nothing happens

District 9 earned 4 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, and it’s a film that I find was drastically ahead of its time. Based on the idea that aliens arrive on Earth to find refuge from their dying planet, the story & the filmmaking are both very strong here. Quality Cinema

Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor gave us a song that people still listen to with the same love even today, and many still have it on loop. 🎶 This film will always be remembered in Indian cinema history because it was the film where the King of Indian Cinema took his very first step into the world of cinema 🤴 👑
