Great explanation and I am not concerned anymore about MSTR. When btc starts going back up MSTR will

This. He nails it here. $MSTR is a giant gamma spring on top of Bitcoin with a lot of internal tension. In periods where Bitcoin has sudden moves to the upside, gamma drives mNAV up sharply due to the nature of the heavy options market based on top of $MSTR. On sharp Bitcoin downswings, this works in reverse as gamma drives mNAV towards 1 and likely at times temporarily below 1.

Peter why can't they use IBIT options instead?

Good question!

Using MSTR requires less put contracts than IBIT due to its amplified performance vs BTC. Not just 1 to 1 like IBIT.

@BTCBULLRIDER Higher volatility = more money to be made?

@BTCBULLRIDER Yes, more hedging potential

This death spiral made total sense when he explained that. Also shows how strong MSTR actually is to be able to absorb that kind of pressure.

What about the assault from JP Morgan on Strategy and MSCI report? I think this has a huge impact, particularly since JPM raised the margin since the summer to 95% - they are shorting.

It sure doesn’t help!

@InvestorSmarter Peter- is the MSCI exclusion a black swan for MSTR if it happens, or just a setback and hurdle they will overcome in time with their massive BTC holdings set to appreciate.

@InvestorSmarter Setback. MSTR can pay their dividend obligations for a veryyyyyy long time.

you feel the vibe

so... we just need to rekt the shorters.. by buying more? 🤔

this is a flat out lie .. there are other ways to hedge besides MSTR puts .. there are futures and ETF's and etc. Tom Lee is an imbecile

So everyone is using and abusing $MSTR like a cheap Baltimore Prostitute

So the odds are mstr will be going up like a missile when sentiment changes.

Plausible for sure

Hedging their BTC longs by shorting MSTR aggressively due to lack of crypto derivatives (options). You can then extrapolate the same is happening with BMNR and ETH, hence BMNR will get buried. Has Saylor gotten the memo? 💀

Wow

@grok could you explain this video as if I am new to trading

MSTR's dip is just a buying opportunity in disguise.

@grok explain what Tom Lee just said in an easily understandable way

- she is a huge position

@grok so does this mean that once Bitcoin starts coming back up that there will be a short squeeze?

I don't buy it. They could just long & hedge MSTR vs the risk of a disconnect. Or they could long BTC & short IBIT options. Some mega whale bank found a good way to attack MSTR through BTC, prefds & options mkt and is going whole hog to accumulate MSTR, BTC or both

When someone says "crypto" about bitcoin, you know you can continue scrolling down. Sorry.
when did tom lee turn into Michael McIntyre

Is this a current clip or is this from a year ago?

Current.

Btw, @grok is hallucinating on this video. It insists it is from a year ago and bitmine is never mentioned in the video:

@JoshMandell6

Capitulation phase

All eggs are in a single basket!

Makes intuitive sense

@POTUS why we allowed this?!!

i wonder why short utilization remains unchanged in mstr! Almost as if the people facing margin calls are selling anything liquid

@investanswers

The " aggressive push down" is actually just normal volatility for a leveraged Bitcoin play. When BTC consolidates, MSTR amplifies the move. This isn't manipulation - it's how the math works.

mstr squeeze feelin heavy

oops... #Bitcoin #ETH #Crypto

Seems as though MSTRcould be a good play for a Reddit short attack much like GME and AMC. I am hearing ther is naked shorting and shares can’t be delivered to clients.
