I think Tom Lee is right! We have oil that is $100 per barrel, we have midterm elections and we have tariffs. All those inflationary short term contributors will likely fall in the new year. Inflation on the economy should get better from here on out in a stock market I think will appreciate because of the uncertainty that it takes off the market in the short term. Will we have a war in Iran over the next 6 to 9 months? In my opinion, I don’t think Iran can hold out that long. In the meantime, the US will have created diversified logistics around oil trade and increase their economics along the way.

I think Tom Lee is right! We have oil that is $100 per barrel, we have midterm elections and we have tariffs. All those inflationary short term contributors will likely fall in the new year. Inflation on the economy should get better from here on out in a stock market I think will appreciate because of the uncertainty that it takes off the market in the short term. Will we have a war in Iran over the next 6 to 9 months? In my opinion, I don’t think Iran can hold out that long. In the meantime, the US will have created diversified logistics around oil trade and increase their economics along the way.

Cathie Wood and Tom Lee are both saying that the economy is essentially in a better spot than we think. Real GDP growth in the United States is going to accelerate because of the advent of AI, manufacturing and autonomy. The real productivity gains will come over time. The short term oil spikes, tariffs and trade tensions will be a thing of the past once this acceleration happens. We are already seeing signs that this is the case.

Burry is not wrong about $ADBE. I think he's a bit early but in the end I think he will be proven right. Adobe management is giving up short term gains in order to maintain long term dominance over its respective industry. The market did not like that and thus sold it off. I believe Adobe is a generational buying opportunity for those that can withstand the short term pain and look beyond the next 6 to 12 months. Same with alot of other SaaS names. The key will be patience and persistence. Value investing is one of the hardest things to do when investing because there aren't nearly as many regular dopamine hits as someone who purely chases themes that are in upwards movements.
