Tom Lee: Starlink offering mobile service could unlock an entirely new industry. "Omni connectivity anywhere in the world on a device." Machine-to-machine communication needs everything always connected. "It may unlock a whole new industry around things that have to stay connected all the time." Starlink alone could become "a... show more

People acting like $ASTS doesn't exist is how I know the price discovery is going to be insane.

@fundstrat You guys are so late and uniformed. Study $asts and learn from the #spacemob

…because the giant 2400sf satellites from $ASTS surpassing every connectivity metric in LEO definitely do not exist. And they definitely wont connect you through your mobile carrier later this year. Let’s go starlink!

Sovereign countries are going with @AST_SpaceMobile

$ASTS

$ASTS

I have to ask? Are people really this uninformed in the D2D space? Elon and Starlink D2D have been trying to make inroads with Starlink D2D for years, unsuccessfully. Starlink is competing with MNO’s running soon on AST Spacemobile. ASTS who pioneered direct to cell broadband.

Research more about $ASTS who is big competitor

Look into @AST_SpaceMobile They have the superior D2D tech There is a reason why all the major MNOs choose AST and not Starlink In the US alone they already have @ATT and @Verizon, and soon @TMobile.

@fundstrat With each passing day, he sounds more and more like Wood. 🤦🏼♂️

$ASTS is already launching this

Amazing how nobody listened to @Gwynne_Shotwell response to the question about robots 🙄

Does this guy not realize the existing MNOs partnered w ASTS will offer much better broadband satellite connectivity way sooner? Starlink isn’t “unlocking” anything.

@fundstrat This is the way

Yeah nice bit about Starlink but the meat and potatoes is the data center business which can bring in $30B-$50B in revenue per GW of compute. With SpaceX ramping to over 2GW by the end of this year and potentially 10GW by the end of 2027 (though I think 2028 is more likely) we will quickly see how much room there is to grow compute revenue over the next year and a half. That 10GW could be $300-$500B in revenue alone for SpaceX in 2028.
