Tom Moody explains the reason behind Rishabh Pant stepping down as LSG’s captain.

But Goenka wanted him as a Captain for the next 10 years

Tom Moody is also the reason behind David Warner getting blocked from the SRH handle on Insta.

Backside story - GOENKA told to pant to step-out from captaincy n also leave the franchise bcoz of huge price tag

Fastest 1000 IPL runs by balls: 1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 440 balls* 2. Andre Russell - 566 balls That’s 126 balls quicker than Dre Russ. 15 years old. Already a freak. 📷 JioHotstar | #GTvsRR #IPL2026

I think it's going to be a game changer for his cricketing career. Not all good batsmen are capable of captaincy. He understood soon.

He step down to concentrate on his batting and nothing else now he is lying 🤥

Captaincy aside, impact remains huge 👊

His is Moody person

Mera bas chale to is joker moody se bas itna puchhu iska achievement kya h ? Lsg me ya fir kisi v franchise me ? Ye khud sabse ghatiya insaan h jisse kuch n ukhraa aaj tk

tom moody basically made it clear that rishabh pants decision came after a disappointing season where both results and leadership came under pressure with lsg winning only 4 matches and finishing at the bottom moody said the franchise now wants a rebuild and reset suggesting that stepping down was part of a larger restructuring plan rather than just a sudden decision 🏏⚡

Rishabh Tata bye bye 😆😅😜

Pant stepping down as captain likely about workload and form, Moody usually points to keeping him focused on batting.

Good decision

What Moody said: Speaking on ESPNcricinfo’s TimeOut, Tom Moody said Pant stepping down was “the right call for him and LSG” and it came down to 3 things: 1. Workload + keeping + batting at 4: “Keeping for 20 overs, then coming out to bat at 4 in every game, plus captaincy — it’s mentally draining. Something had to give. His batting is LSG’s biggest asset. They need Pant the batter firing, not Pant the tired captain.”

Tom Moody always provides such great, clear insights into team dynamics. Rishabh Pant stepping down as the Lucknow Super Giants captain is a massive move that changes everything. It will be very interesting to see how this decision affects both his personal batting form and the team's strategy going forward! 🏏🔥

Right Act By Rishabh Pant

Chhoda Rishabh ne hai To reason ye kyu bata rha hai 🙄

With only 10 wins out of 28 matches across two seasons under Pant's leadership, the LSG failed to make the playoffs both times...

Sanjiv Goenka did a back flip.

It takes a lot of maturity to step down to focus on your own game. Hopefully, this allows Rishabh to play with more freedom and confidence. Interesting perspective from Tom Moody.
