Weird they can’t see that ‘assisted dying’ is ‘assisted suicide’, when that’s exactly it. Support it if you want, but Danny Kruger is right. If you believe in choosing death, you believe in suicide. But with this, you want someone’s help to do it.

The supposition of the pro-assisted-dying claim is that it's all about autonomy. But what if people are nudged/cajoled/encouraged into choosing death rather than life and finding ways of making their end of life as comfortable and positive as possible? This is my warning about siren voices encouraging fatalistic, state-assisted suicide as an attractive treatment option:
