Tom Wambsgans is an all-time great television character. Played by Matthew Macfadyen, Tom kinda, sorta stole the entire show. He’s the show’s most relatable character- or at least he was supposed to be- and at a minimum was the show’s funniest part. I miss this show & character.

In junior high, I had a crush on Donna Pescow, who starred with Robert Hays in a great Garry Marshall sitcom Angie. This was the 5th rated show of 1978-79, and then ABC moved it to another time slot, and the show was canceled. Also, the character played by child actress Tammy Lauren just disappeared. Here is the theme song sang by Maureen McGovern, and the opening credits to what I thought was a great show. Enjoy this time capsule.

Arrested Development was once the funniest show on television. The Bluth Family gave us an all-time great American sitcom. This entire cast rules but the writing in the first few seasons is some of the funniest writing I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to replicate this kind of writing.

The Office is kinda the only reason I have a Peacock subscription. I haven’t watched The Paper because I still find myself just happy with rewatching this show. It brings me back to such a happier time. This show’s casting & its writing are perfect. I really miss this era of TV.
