“No Blink” - An interesting observation in #Retro 👌🔥 In all the 3 promos that has been released from Retro - First shot, Birthday teaser, Title teaser - there is one common factor. That's when I noticed that not only is it a single take sequence, which is pretty obvious, but also #Suriya doesn't blink even once in it. From his entry to the shot completion, Suriya will be staring directly at the camera without a single blink. This is sometimes used by film makers to assert domination on screen. Not only in this teaser, even in the first shot teaser, it is the same stare to the screens without a blink even when rain drops are falling. Same can be seen in the final shot of title teaser too.
