I’ve never been the biggest J.J. Abrams fan & it’s unlikely I ever will be, but credit where it’s due: his 2009 Star Trek film really holds up well & is excellent filmmaking. This movie definitely meets the Star Trek standard. It helps when Zachary Quinto & Chris Pine knock it out of the park, as does the entire cast. This is a damn good film, folks.
