Lagos State Environmental and Special Offenses Taskforce have commenced enforcement against banned Okada operation, one-way traffic violations, and removal of shanties erected along Lagos -Calabar coastal highway corridor. Over 50 motorcycles were confiscated for riding on the highway in violation of the Lagos State traffic law, while 10 vehicles were apprehended and charged to court for driving against traffic. This enforcement will be sustained in order to restore sanity on the road. #ZeroToleranceLagos

Surveillance footage shows the heavyset white female, believed to be between 30 and 45, with dark hair, glasses, and tattoos on her back. She used a tool to manipulate the locking mechanisms on glass-front niches containing remains at a West Houston cemetery along the Katy Freeway near Eldridge. She targeted multiple niches and stole memorial jewelry and other items left for the dead. This wasn’t her first time — there was at least one prior theft at the same location. Precinct 5 Constable’s Office is now asking the public for help identifying her. THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!

The affected structures were obstructing the right of way and contributing to traffic congestion and environmental nuisance along the corridor.
