Lagos State Environmental and Special Offenses Taskforce have commenced enforcement against banned Okada operation, one-way traffic violations, and removal of shanties erected along Lagos -Calabar coastal highway corridor. Over 50 motorcycles were confiscated for riding on the highway in violation of the Lagos State traffic law, while 10 vehicles were apprehended and charged to court for driving against traffic. This enforcement will be sustained in order to restore sanity on the road. #ZeroToleranceLagos

This week, the #OPP is conducting aerial traffic enforcement and monitoring roadways with our Cessna plane, equipped with Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) cameras. The focus of enforcement activities will be on motorcyclist (and other driver) behaviours that put everyone at risk such as speeding, aggressive driving and following too close. Remember, #RoadSafety is a shared responsibility.

She used a tool to manipulate the locking mechanisms on glass-front niches containing remains at a West Houston cemetery along the Katy Freeway near Eldridge. The affected structures were obstructing the right of way and contributing to traffic congestion and environmental nuisance along the corridor.
