🚢 NEW: Largest Civilian Effort to Break Gaza Siege Launches Under ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ Banner The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, Global March to Gaza, and Sumud Convoy have joined forces to form the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF)— the largest coordinated civilian effort yet to break the Israeli naval siege on Gaza. ➤ Dozens of boats are preparing to sail from ports across the Mediterranean in a nonviolent maritime convoy aimed at delivering aid and confronting the blockade directly. ➤ The GSF says its mission is to break the naval siege, deliver humanitarian aid, and open a people-led corridor where governments have failed. Spokespeople: Saif Abukeshek (Palestine) Jeweher Chenna (Tunisia) Thiago Ávila (Brazil)

Global Sumud Flotilla Account: Israel has illegally and violently intercepted our international fleet of humanitarian vessels and abducted our volunteers as they undertake a legitimate mission to break the illegal siege on Gaza. We are outraged by the normalization of these violations of international law and the kidnapping of peaceful civilians in international waters. We demand the immediate release of our participants, the safe passage of our entire fleet, and an end to the illegal siege of Gaza. Contact your governments: -Demand immediate intervention -Pressure officials to publicly condemn Israel’s actions -Reject the normalization of state terror -Call out governments for enabling Israeli impunity -Stand in solidarity with Palestinian liberation

Turkish activist Yasemin Acar from the Global Sumud Flotilla calls on the world to keep supporting Gaza as the flotilla sails to break the blockade: “We faced storms, high waves, sea sickness—but we overcame everything because we believe in justice and have one goal: to break the illegal siege on Gaza and deliver aid.”
