This isn't because the regulator is allowing water companies to continue to rip off customers. This is REALLY because the Labour Government REFUSES to ACT in the BEST INTERESTS of its citizens. Labour leaders prefer significant DONATIONS from water companies to continue the status quo. FUCK LABOUR!!!!

Quango regulators need to be shut down. Ofwat and Ofgem are far too cosy with the companies that they regulate. Consumers have been ripped off.

Privatisation is the fundamental reason why water is in crisis. The only other country with fully privatised water is Chile. We’re a global outlier, clinging to a failed Ponzi scheme while our rivers choke and bills rise. It’s time to bring water back into public hands.

Given the scale of the crisis in the water sector, a purely regulatory approach is like putting a complaints box on the Titanic. Public ownership is the only real solution, as I told the Water Minister in parliament yesterday.
